Baked cod fish with mustard and cheese’s fish again. I promise I’ll try to post some steak soon – I already cooked it yesterday and was great – but I still need to work on the pictures..

So let’s have another fish: cod this time, with a mustard, lemon, cheese and sour cream sauce, garnished with tomatoes. It came out a bit runny but absolutely delicious.



2 cod fillets – approximately 200gr each

5 tbs sour cream

juice from 1/2 lemon

2 tsp english mustard (if you have course mustard it will work better I think)

150 gr cheddar cheese grated

2 tomatoes

salt and pepper to taste

some chives to garnish


Put the fillets in a n oven proof dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper and the lemon juice.

In a bowl mix together: the sour cream with the mustard until well combined.

Cut the tomatoes in slices, and put them over the fillets – I probably used 6-7 slices.

Mix the grated cheese in the mustard mix and then put the mix over the fish and tomatoes.

Preheat your oven to 175C, and bake the fish for about 15-20 minutes.

Take the dish out and garnish with some chives.

It was great for dinner, and we had the fish with  Parmesan zucchini aside.
